Mikhael Manekin

Executive Director
Mikhael Manekin is the executive director of Molad, the Center for the Renewal of Israeli Democracy. In this capacity, Mikhael manages the political work of Molad, which includes both strategic and policy work with members of the coalition and opposition, and with relevant political parties. Prior to Molad, Mikhael directed Breaking the Silence, an IDF veterans organization that collects and publishes testimonies of soldiers who served in the Occupied Territories. Mikhael’s publications and writing focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and on the political strategies of the left.
