Dr. Naomi Sussmann

Research Fellow
Holds a PhD in philosophy from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2004).  Since completing her dissertation, she held various post-doc and research fellowships and was a visiting professor in several universities in and out of Israel. Has written and published on Hobbes and Machiavelli;
Just War and Terrorism; and the philosophy of emotion. A  volume on the political thought of Michael Walzer – Reading Walzer: Sovereignty, Culture, Justice – co-edited with Yitzhak Benbaji is due to appear with Routledge later this year [2013]. Prior to that, Naomi graduated in Architecture from the Technion, Haifa, and was a practicing architect for several years.
